Based on what we are seeing from the “Big Brother 14” house at the moment, there is one thing that you can apparently count on when you have strong players on the block — the bashing of other strong players.
(Warning: the following contains spoilers straight from the live feed.)
With the news that Frank is the winner of the Power of Veto, the one debate that is going on in the house at the moment is just who is going to join Boogie on the block as a replacement nominee. Earlier in the day Sunday, Boogie made his opinion very clear in that Dan is the cancer who is working his way through the house, and it is his manipulation of Boogie and Frank that has caused all of this to happen with Shane in the first place. Shane did his best to agree with everything he said, and this is really where we had the opportunity to see what actually makes Shane a halfway decent player in this game — somehow, he’s managed to make Dan a bigger target than himself next week despite the fact that he is really the one pulling some of the strings. Of course, we also think that him throwing Dan and Britney under the bus will come back to haunt him eventually.
Hours later there was a brief confrontation between Frank and Dan where they admitted to having some bad blood, though they can be friends outside of the game — meanwhile, Britney spent some time up in the Head of Household room with Shane and continued to bash Boogie and everything she stands for. Really, we’re kind of curious as to how Britney’s currently status of “being as unhappy as humanly possible” is actually winning her favor. It was understandable in season 12 when she was constantly an underdog — but to hear someone with so much power in this game whine so much is actually rather irritating.
The plan still seems to be Jenn going up on the block as a replacement, mostly so that Shane can better unsure that Boogie goes home and no one plays any sort of trick on him. Do you think that this is his best move? To check up some more news when it comes to the ramifications of the Veto Competition, be sure and read the story over at this link.
