Is “Glee” getting set for an epic Halloween special this year? It’s possible, but it also seems as though it would be a little early to start shooting it given that they were just working on the Britney Spears tribute episode (airing on September 19) just a couple of days ago.
In a new post on his Twitter account, executive producer Ryan Murphy posed a rather fun picture of Darren Criss’ Blaine dressed up as Robin (minus a few symbols here and there) along with the following message:
“Who is that masked man keeping crime away from the halls of McKinley?”
It really does feel as though there are only a few options for why somebody could be dressed up as a superhero. It’s possible that the gang is filming something related to Halloween early, that they are doing a number that happens to feature superheroes in some shape or form, or that Blaine has merely gone off the deep end now that Kurt is not around to keep him company at McKinley High. (After all, we don’t even know that they are going to stay together beyond just a few episodes on this coming season.)
We already know that both Criss and Colfer have each advocated in some way trying to make some more drama happen between these two, mostly because their relationship was starting to feel a bit too routine for them as actors. As for how this applies to the photo, it probably doesn’t … but wouldn’t Kurt flip out if he saw Blaine in this outfit?
