When you are struggling with a relationship that has been stuffed with friction for some time, there are some moves that you make that you may or may no come to regret later simply because you think appeasement is the best possible compromise. For Jacqueline Laurita, we are going to see just that on Sunday night’s new episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
As you will see in the preview clip below, Jacqueline comes up with the idea that it is going to be better off trying to make nice with Teresa Giudice rather than to try and fight her. Why? She thinks that it is better going in this route than having a relationship that is constantly full of fighting, drama, and unspoken tension. Jacqueline tries to justify some of this in a conversation with Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile … but it’s fair to say that they are not exactly completely buying what she is throwing in their direction.
From a personal perspective, we would have been more than happy for Jacqueline if this somehow managed to work out, and if she and Teresa started to find a way to patch things up again. However, we already know that this is not the case given the current icy state of their friendship — which is hardly even a friendship at all anymore. What Laurita’s strategy here only seems to be doing is delaying the inevitable — something that we are probably going to see not only play out over the course of the rest of the season, but also the reunion special.
What do you think of the way in which Jacqueline tries to justify this choice to some of her other co-stars? We want to hear your thoughts below! If you want to read up some more on the infamous Joe Giudice phone call drama that is coming up Sunday, take a look at the story here.
