We know now that Blake Jenner is the season 2 winner of “The Glee Project,” but there are still some major questions looming, including who he is going to play and just when his seven-episode arc on “Glee” is going to actually begin.
While we still don’t know the answer to the first question — and neither does Blake, for the time being — executive producer Ryan Murphy did respond to a question on his Twitter page Thursday as to when we can see Blake in action for the first time:
“Blake’s character will be in Ohio starting episode 5.”
This simple message also lets us in on the news that although Blake is certainly old enough to play a student attending NYADA with Rachel in New York, he is actually going to be playing some sort of of student who turns up at McKinley High. The good news that likely comes with that is that there is always a possibility of him staying beyond the seven episodes given to him for winning the Oxygen series. Last year Damian McGinty ended up lasting for the entire season, even though it looks as though his character of Rory is not going to be back in any capacity this fall (though that could change at a later date).
We also know already that Blake is going to be dating someone that will surprise us, but the “who” in the equation is still a mystery. Considering that there is an episode coming up this season entitled “The Break-Up,” there really could be a number of viable candidates for him.
