Want to know some minor details about what is happening at the “Game of Thrones” set in Northern Ireland? If so, be sure to keep reading — but don’t worry, as we are not going to be giving anything major away for those of you who want to be in the clear in regards to major plot spoilers.
According to show site Winter Is Coming, the show has done some filming as of late at Clandeboye Estate in what appears to be a night scene. If it somehow turns out to be anywhere near as gorgeous as what the show did with the Battle of Blackwater, we are sure to be really happy campers.
Meanwhile, we also have the following quip from Cat Taylor, who works alongside showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss on the set. Is she joking in his Twitter message about how many people are getting killed? Possibly (and it’s also possible that the three being killed are just background characters) but this is pretty funny regardless
“This week, we kill three people. Not that many really, we are feeling a bit lazy.”
“Game of Thrones” has been in Northern Ireland for more than a month now, and will continue to be there for quite a stretch of time moving forward. Production will at some point also shift to both Iceland and Morocco, where there are also multiple storylines being filmed in order to replicate the vast terrain of Westeros and give the world a very authentic feel. We’ll have more production notes the entire way, at least when it comes to casting and some assorted details that do not actually detail what transpires.
What storyline are you looking forward to seeing the most? If you want to find out some more scoop from some of the Iceland actors, be sure to check out the story here.
