For those of you who were wanting to find out some more details about “American Horror Story” season 2, you can at least take comfort in one thing — one of the most-popular actors from the show’s first season will again be playing a significant role.
In a post on Twitter during a chat that was otherwise reserved for “Glee” questions, executive producer Ryan Murphy had the following to say on the subject of how much Evan Peters will be in the upcoming story:
“Contrary to rumors, Evan is in all episodes of AHS this season.”
There are not many other characters in the story who have been confirmed to be in every episode, but three who are presumably going to have a large role are Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Zachary Quinto (who was more of a recurring guest star the first time around). We will see a plethora of other faces throughout the season set in an insane asylum — including Adam Levine, Jenna Dewan, and Marc Consuelos — but these people are probably just going to make sporadic appearances rather than just turning up and making their voice heard in every episode.
While there is no official premiere date for the show just yet, you can probably pencil in a return in mid October around the same time “The Walking Dead” is coming back for its own new season. Both shows are tailor-made for Halloween, and they will produce the best ratings possible during that time of year.
