If there is one thing that we have grown accustomed to seeing when it comes to “Jersey Shore,” it’s drama — and while we are sure to see some of this very thing when season 6 premieres on MTV on October 4, it also sounds like we won’t see as much when it comes to loose ends that need to be tied up with installments down the road.
Speaking in a new interview with MTV Canada, one of the show’s biggest stars in Pauly D did his best to explain what is really going to make this season stand out compared to all the others we have seen before it:
“The vibe in the house is great. For once, everybody, in the most part, is getting along more than we ever did … Because every time we would leave that house [in the past] there would be like unfinished business, like Sammi would be fighting with Jenni, or Ronnie and Sammi would be fighting or something. But not this time. Everybody was kind of together as a family.”
The one thing that is especially nice about Pauly making this comment is that it is proof that people with touchy histories can still find a way to come together and get along. It wasn’t that long ago when we were seeing Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino make all sorts of allegations about Snooki, and these two have seemingly made some amends even if they aren’t planning to be best friends down the road. (Mike entered treatment months before the season started, and was reportedly much like his former self when he was taping the show.)
Do you prefer “Jersey Shore” when it is more based on drama, or has more of a vignette feel to it with funny moments left and right? We want to hear what you think below! To check out some more scoop from this coming season when it comes to Snooki, be sure and read the story over here.
