While sitcoms typically start up production later than most other shows, there is some good news breaking now for fans of “The Big Bang Theory” — season 6 is finally under way with the cast!
In a recent post on his Twitter account, executive producer Bill Prady officially confirmed the news — and also posted a photo suggesting that they were getting the famed comic book store reading for an appearance in at least one episode. With that in mind, we also have to assume that Kevin Sussman is going to be returning as one of our favorite recurring characters — hapless store manager Stuart, who may be the only person alive lonelier than Raj.
Season 6 is going to pick up with some of our beloved geeks scattered all over the place. Howard is going to be off in space, Sheldon is still going to be trying to get used to having an official “girlfriend” in Amy, and Leonard and Penny are still going to be trying to figure out just how they want to describe their relationship in general after its “beta test” for most of the second half of last season. As for the aforementioned Raj … we know at some point that the character is going to have another crack at romance. Is it going to stick this time? That is the current mystery — and if it doesn’t work out, he always has Siri on his iPhone to run back to.
