Earlier this summer, Adam Levine was one of the surprise additions to the cast of “American Horror Story” — but is he actually going to watch the Ryan Murphy production when it airs at some poing this October? This is where things get a little bit interesting.
Speaking in a new interview with The Huffington Post on this very subject, the Maroon 5 frontman said that watching this sort of scary content is really not his thing — despite what sort of preconceived notion you may have about rock stars being into things that are perceived as scary or intense:
“I’m still too scared to watch it … But I’m gonna try and beat my fear of really creepy, scary things like that by doing it. I think that’s a good way to tackle that fear.”
It’s still unclear just what Levine’s character is going to be afraid of on this show moving forward, but he is going to be playing one half of a duo otherwise known as “the lovers” alongside Jenna Dewan — and although he has already started to film, just about every detail regarding this storyline is being kept under a tight lock and key. Adam has had a busy summer, as he has been forced to alternate filming this show alongside doing some work for NBC’s “The Voice” — which has seemingly already filmed its blind auditions to go along with the battle rounds. (After all, we already know the lineup of advisers.)
