Recently, we published a story from Derek Hough saying that the reveal of the professional partners for this All-Stars season of “Dancing with the Stars” will be happening on Monday — and now, we have some more information to go along with it.
In a new statement, it was announced that the professional pairings will be revealed during Monday morning’s edition of “Good Morning America” — a show that is traditionally a hub for reveals of all things related to the dance competition. Most of the show’s most-popular pros — including Hough, Kym Johnson, Cheryl Burke, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy — are all expected to be a part of the cast. However, what is a little bit more unclear is if the pros will be required to work with someone that they have never worked with in the past. This seems to be the only way to make it fair, as some pros have two or three contestants on this season who they have experience with — meanwhile, some others have none.
Hough has hinted in the past that this season could be his final curtain call, as he is looking forward to taking part in some other opportunities now that he has the rich experience of being on this show behind him. He already has won multiple titles, and outside of money there’s really not as much of a reason for him to continue with this show following this season. As for some other longtime pros like Maksim, he may still on until he has a chance to win that elusive trophy.
Who do you want to see appearing on this season, and do you think it is fair at all for some pros to work with people who they have experience with already? We want to hear from you below! To check out more from the cast of this upcoming season, be sure and follow the link here.
