It may not sound exciting to see a case on “Bones” that involves the concept of “cleaning up,” it is actually much more interesting once you figure out a few more details about it.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Stephen Nathan says that there is an installment of the show for season 8 that revolves around people who can wipe a crime scene clean of evidence faster than anyone, and this is going to create a number of problems for Booth, Brennan, and the rest of the team to try and figure out just what exactly happened:
“We have one [case] that involves a crime scene clean up team … They are one step ahead of our people and they know how to get rid of evidence.”
This case holds some great potential, mostly in that it is one of the few that we have heard of that could actually complicate the process of solving crimes — something that is made to look rather easy on a number of these mystery shows. This story also is going to be a part of a promising number of cases coming up — including a story based solely on the “squinterns,” one involving a divorce attorney whose wife is having an affair with his secretary, and of course the season premiere that tackles the major issue as to whether or not Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz’s characters are going to be able to recover from a season finale that saw Brennan take off to destinations unknown.
What do you think about this idea for a case, and from your standpoint do you think that season 8 is stepping up up when it comes to the quality of their stories based on what you have heard? To take a look at a story for another upcoming “Bones” episode, be sure and follow the link here.
