Oftentimes when we watch a show like “Once Upon a Time” at home, we take a lot of things for granted — including how hard it is to produce a show at all hours of the day in locations that are real and often prone to rain, changing temperatures, and high winds.
So just in case we needed a reminder of some of what the cast and crew goes through to produce a successful program, here is a message on Twitter courtesy of one Ginnifer Goodwin — who was up extremely late shooting a new scene as either Snow White or Mary Margaret:
“12:39am: Dear Diary, finished lunch & heading back 2 set 4 the 2nd 1/2 of our filming day. Raccoons, skunks & bats abound. I want chocolate.”
As for what is actually going on in this scene, that much remains unclear — but if you look back at season 1, then you already know that there were plenty of scenes and big moments that took place late at night. This was especially true in the fairy tale world, where we saw so many sneak attacks that happened under the cover of darkness. (Plus, this is when we could see Meghan Ory’s Little Red Riding Hood at her worst.) The first episode of the season (which premieres on September 30) is going to be very much themed around Goodwin’s character, but it is unclear if this work is for that episode or something else entirely.
