When “Glee” kicks off season 4 on Thursday, September 13, Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry is going to be away from her longtime love in Finn Hudson — and with that in mind, it is certainly possible that she may end up flipping the script on her romantic life in some shape or form. Are there still some lingering feelings there? Sure, but there is also a new guy who is going to try and make Rachel forget all about it — NYADA upperclassman Brody, who is played by former “Terra Nova” star Dean Geyer.
So what exactly is it that makes Brody drawn to Rachel so badly? Speaking as a part of a brand-new interview with The Insider on this very subject, here is what the actor had to say about how it is her innocence in a way that makes the character so intriguing:
“Brody’s definitely attracted to Rachel physically … But also to the fact she’s coming into the school almost green to the industry — this is a whole new world and he’s attracted to the fact she hasn’t been jaded by it yet.”
As for how much of Geyer we are going to see, that is still unclear — however, we should expect the character to at least be in a few episodes early on in season 4 — and even if his storyline does wrap up for whatever reason, there’s always going to be an opportunity for him to come back to the show. After all, he is going to be wrapped up and involved with the same exact community that Rachel is.
