Kingston’s doing better.

For most of the week, we have heard quite a bit about the constant display of support between Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston. The two longtime friends (and “Eenie Meanie” collaborators) were featured together on an MTV News special Tuesday night talking about Kingston’s recovery from a horrific jet ski accident — we have already heard Justin’s relentless praise for how Kingston is doing, and now we also have this reply from Sean himself about the 17-year old star:

“That’s my lil’ bro man…I see that he’s a loyal friend. For me, to be in a [life-threatening] situation like that and then for me to come out the hospital and know that he’s calling my mum, calling my manager, calling everybody asking how I’m doing, I see that he’s a great friend; a great, true person at heart.”

For the most part, Kingston has tried to lay low for the past few months, but with his considerable talent it will be tough to keep him away from the studio for long. He made his first morning-show appearance since the accident on “The Today Show” Thursday, and you can check out the full interview below. In it, Sean explains in full what happened on Memorial Day weekend — and also thanked the man who saved his life.

What do you think about what Sean has to say here?
