Are you ready for a blast from Danno’s past on “Hawaii Five-0” this season? Well, it looks like you are going to get it courtesy of Ving Rhames.
In news that was first announced on CBS’ official Twitter account a little bit earlier in the day, Rhames is going o make a very violent impression in one of the upcoming episodes. It was later revealed that the “Pulp Fiction” alum is going to be playing someone that is very tied to Danny’s past in New Jersey, and we will see his story play out in part in a series of flashbacks. Is it possible that he could also manage to turn up in Hawaii? Definitely, but that has not been confirmed as of this writing.
“Hawaii Five-0” is set to kick off one of its most competitive ratings battles yet when it premieres on September 24, as it will not only be going up against one of its longtime rivals in “Castle” over on ABC, but also one of the most-anticipated new series of the entire year in NBC’s “Revolution” — something that is also capable of taking a pretty large male audience away from the cop procedural. With this in mind, get ready to see executive producer Peter Lenkov and the rest of the crew up their game to give us some of the best stories yet. We already know that we are also going to see the return of Ed Asner during one of the early episodes this season.
