When “The Good Wife” returns with all-new episodes on Sunday, September 30, we are going to see a number of new faces joining the CBS drama — including one that we have all been waiting for.
The photo to the left is your first look at actor Marc Warren, who is playing the character of Kalinda’s estranged husband by the name of Nick. Based on the description that the show has given him, it already looks as though he is someone who is going to cause all sorts of problems for Archie Panjabi’s character throughout the entirety of his arc:
“British actor Marc Warren guest stars on THE GOOD WIFE as Kalinda’s manipulative ex-husband, to whom she has an attraction that she finds impossible to ignore.”
Just in case Warren was not enough, the premiere is also going to boast another big-name guest star in Kristin Chenoweth, who is diving back into scripted TV not long after the death of her short-live show “GCB.” This time around, she is going to be playing someone who is a major thorn in Alicia’s side — a political reporter who wants to know all sorts of details about the Florrick marriage — including some that she probably does not want to give. You may remember that Chenoweth was actually hospitalized briefly earlier this summer following an accident on the show’s set involving a light structure, but has since recovered without a problem and is continuing her work.
Just to round out the “who’s who” of big-name guest stars, Maura Tierney (of the recently-canceled “The Whole Truth”) and Broadway veteran Nathan Lane (“The Producers”) are each on tap for roles during the season premiere.
Is Warren the sort of guy that you pictured with Kalinda, and what are you the most excited about when it comes to this new season? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! To check out the rest of CBS’ fall schedule, be sure to head on over to this link.
