We reported recently that the season 2 premiere of “Once Upon a Time” is going to focus heavily on Ginnifer Goodwin’s character of Snow White, and we’ve also reported that Lee Arenberg is already in Vancouver to film some more scenes as his character of Grumpy.
Now, it is starting to look more and more like we are going to see all of the famous dwarves turn up at some point early this season. In a post on Twitter, Goodwin strongly hinted at a reunion coming up:
“I am SLEEPY and therefore GRUMPY.”
Goodwin also tweeted a message from actor Michael Coleman that included a reference to his character of Happy — do we need any more evidence? When it comes to plot alone, it would make sense that the dwarves would turn up again right around now. We have seen bits and pieces of Snow’s time with them in the fairy tale world that was, but never a complete picture. She lived with them in part while her memory was heavily damaged, and after Grumpy gets his new nickname after being deceived into not running away from his fellow dwarves in order to be with Amy Acker’s fairy Nova. (Is it too much to ask that we see Acker again?) We would also be particularly thrilled to see them turn up at some point in Storybrooke, as Grumpy is the only one that we have any sort of substantial story attached to for the time being. (Personally, we predict focus stories on the dwarves to be a bit of a slow burn.)
