On the fourth season of “Glee,” we know that Lea Michele’s character of Rachel Berry is going to be in for a rather big adjustment period. After all, she is going from being the best singer and performer in New Directions to drowning in a sea of people who may be stronger than her in some regards — and with that, she is going to have to adapt fast, or be more or less eaten up alive.
According to a report from E! News, one of Rachel’s biggest challenges is going to come in the third episode of this season when she runs into some seriously devoted ballerinas. Are they friend or foe? It’s really too early to say for sure, but regardless we do have a feeling that they will be very intimidating. Dance has never been Rachel’s strong suit, and no amount of coaching from Kate Hudson is going to get her at the level that she needs to be overnight.
Rachel is going to start off this season alone in New York City, but we do already know that Chris Colfer’s character of Kurt is going to join her pretty early on. As for everyone else, it’s still up in the air — Santana (Naya Rivera) is going to at least start the season off cheering at the University of Louisville, and nobody really knows just where Cory Monteith’s Finn is going to be. Out of the graduating seniors, these two at the moment seem to be the question marks most likely to be making their way to the Big Apple at some point in the near future.
How do you think that Rachel is going to handle the pressure of no longer being the best? We want to hear some of your thoughts below! To check out what is going to be coming up for another popular character this season in Harry Shum Jr.’s Mike Chang, be sure to click on the story here.
