Anyone who loves “Game of Thrones” knows one thing about it when it comes to its cast — it may be the largest group of people ever assembled for a television series. The cast is already ballooning even more courtesy of the new additions for season 3, which include such popular characters as Ramsay Snow, the King Beyond the Wall Mance Rayder, and the Reeds.
So who may be coming on board next? At the moment, it’s a bit of a mystery — but according to sources from the site Winter Is Coming, it is rumored that a pair of new actors have joined the cast due to them being spotted on the show’s set in Belfast.
Noah Taylor – Born in Britain, Taylor has appeared in a number of feature films, and most recently made a TV appearance on the “Hatfields & McCoys” miniseries airing on the History Channel.
Burn Gorman – Some of Gorman’s credits include “Torchwood” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” which is about as impressive of examples as you can give.
Neither one of these actors has been confirmed to be on the show by HBO, so it is too early to tell just who they will be playing. With that, it’s best to keep this firmly planted within the “rumor” category until more information is released. The original story claims that these two were seen filming alongside some of the Night’s Watch members such as Samwell, who Jon Snow split from prior to him being held prisoner by Ygritte and the Wildings.
Who do you think these actors could be playing, or are you waiting for more information to come out before getting your hopes up? To check out a video featuring many of the other season 3 castings, be sure to follow this link. The new season premieres March 30, 2013 on HBO.
