Before we start presenting our full take on Wednesday night’s new episode of “Big Brother 14,” we have to at least give a brief critique to anyone on this show who refers to themselves as “big” — stop doing it. Big Jeff last season was bad enough, and now “Big Frank” is even worse. It’s ridiculous. If Shaq comes into the game, he can be “Big Shaq.” Otherwise, you’re just Frank.
If you’ve been following our live feed reports this summer, then you already know a little bit about what’s been going on in the house. Janelle is up on the block, and it’s still looking pretty likely that she is going to be the one going home. However, what wasn’t so much clear was just how much Boogie and Janelle are running this show. This is just as much Dan’s Head of Household as it is Danielle’s, and it’s almost as though Boogie is using Frank and Dan alternately as Dr. Will in his own version of Chilltown. Despite Frank being constantly in danger of going home, he always manages to stick around — and between him, Boogie, and Dan, they also have the Chilltown-esque reputation of not really winning a ton of challenges. (Granted, the coaches have really only been playing for a week.)
The other thing that was entertaining in this episode? Seeing how Ian is fitting into the picture. He formed an alliance with Britney, Shane, Danielle, and Dan that seems secure — and at the same time, Boogie and Frank don’t know about it. While he may not be the guy who is making the biggest moves, he has evolved so much as a player and he may now be a serious threat to win this entire season.
Overall, this season is getting great rather quickly — and even though we are losing a great player this week no matter what, the stage is set for some action so long as Boogie, Dan, and Frank continue to run the show.
What did you think of this episode, and who do you think is a better Dr. Will to Boogie — Frank, or Dan? To check out what Boogie and Frank have been talking about Wednesday on the live feed, be sure to check out the story here.
