After last week’s episode of “Burn Notice” took place almost immediately after the death of Michael Westen’s brother Nate, we are going to see a little bit of a time jump this week as the show looks to throw its focus on what is happening almost a full month later.
Unfortunately, what we are going to see first and foremost from Michael is frustration. The FBI has made almost no movement whatsoever in the case of Nate’s death, and this means that he is starting to get anxious when it comes to taking matters into his own hands. With Fiona now by his side following her escape from prison, she generously offers to help him start up his own investigation — but he is leery about it for a good reason. He just one one person that he loves; why risk losing another? Of course, there is also a difference between Fi and Nate, notably in that the former is a firearms expert who has been a part of Michael’s professional life since before this show even began.
After last week really didn’t go anywhere when it comes to this new case, we hope that there is some sort of progress here when it comes to who is actually behind this shooting (which was seemingly more to go after Anson Fullerton than Nate). Now that we have seen a more serialized for of this show, we admit to being a little bit spoiled, and we want to see this format carry through for the rest of the season.
