If she wasn’t so full of herself at times in the “Big Brother” house, we’d feed pretty bad for Danielle Murphree at the moment. Why? She seems to think that she is in a relationship that is far more serious than it really is. As a matter of fact, the man involved here in Shane Meaney really doesn’t want there to be a romance at all.
(Warning: The following contains spoilers from the live feed.)
In the latest chapter of this awkward “no-mance” Tuesday night, Shane was pretty much forced into doing something that he promised Danielle he would do in the event that she backdoored Janelle — giving her a back rub. You want to bet that this “lots o’ skin” action will be on the show? We have a feeling that it will, and that producers will make it look like there is more going on here than there actually was. As a matter of fact, Shane told Danielle this same day that he needed to distance himself from her out of fear that the houseguests were going to target them a la Brendon and Rachel. Unfortunately for him (and as Britney said), the other contestants are not dumb. They’ve seen what has been going on here between these two, and they are aware that there are some feelings at least on Danielle’s side. The best thing that these two can do is not to push it forward too much, and to just kind of keep it going at the same pace. There’s no point of hiding something when it will make you look untrustworthy.
For Shane, we just have a feeling that he wants to go back in time and just have a showmance with nobody — instead, he’s been with JoJo, Kara, and now Danielle at different points in the season. For those wondering, there really wasn’t much else of substance that happened Tuesday night beyond these two — there was poker, and Janelle still looks to be going home.
Do you think these two growing close — much to Shane’s own chagrin — is going to end up hurting them in the game? We want to hear from you below! To check out where each one of them stands in our new edition of our show rankings, be sure to visit the link here.
