‘The Vampire Diaries’ spoilers: The 1100s flashback will focus on…

In a recent report, we talked a little bit about how an upcoming episode of “The Vampire Diaries” is going to introduce us to a new vampire hunter named Alexander, but the twist here is that this very character is going to be all the way back in he 1100s — a time in which only the Originals were walking around the world.

With that in mind, we now know a little bit more about who is going to be involved in Alexander’s story. According to Zap2It, Alexander is going to form some sort of bond with none other than Claire Holt’s Rebekah — which is a pretty tricky position for him be in considering both his profession and her status as a member of the undead.

Is it possible that we are going to have a “Romeo and Juliet” sort of situation play out here? If so, it would give us a greater sense of understanding about how Klaus’ sister seems to constantly have that sort of “jilted lover” attitude and becomes rather quick to act if things are not exactly going her way. To be frank, she’s probably just afraid of being hurt again after everything that she has been through.

This episode is going to be the fourth one of the new season, and early whispers are that it will be a game-changer for pretty much everyone involved. By the time that the episode is over, we should know a good bit more about Rebekah — and hopefully, this will translate to us learning how she is going to move forward after causing Matt to swerve off of Wickery Bridge in last season’s finale.

Are you interested in learning a little bit more about Rebekah, or is this a character that you try and just ignore when she is onscreen? We want to hear some of your thoughts below! to check out some more of the latest “Vampire Diaries” news, be sure to follow the link here.
