“Sesame Street” has just announced some of their upcoming celebrity guest stars for their upcoming season — and overall, we have to say that it’s a pretty good lineup of people that is coming up from the TV world.
Rather than just making this a boring announcement, we’ve instead trying to come up with a letter that each one of these stars could showcase — or at least from our cynical and pop culture-loving perspective:
Jon Hamm – M is for “make up a completely false identity”
Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”) – F is for Fizbo
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – I is for “I don’t understand ‘Inception,’ either”
David Hyde Pierce – R is for “Remember Me?”
Timothy Olymphant – W is for “Why does the Emmy keep snubbing my show?”
Maya Rudolph – N is for “needs to host ‘Saturday Night Live’ at least once a season
Melissa McCarthy – S is for sink
Ed Helms – T is for “‘The Office’ needs to go back to basics”
Kristen Bells – S is for sloth
Dax Shepard – G is for giving Kristel Bell a sloth
There is a serious part of us that wishes that Bryan Cranston was on this list, mostly so that we could add on here “H is for hazmat suit” (or Aaron Paul for “B is for b–ch” — we kid, we kid).
The real objective in getting these stars on here is to keep parents engaged watching the show with their children, which will help the children have a more productive and interactive learning environment than just trying to watch the show on their own. Of course, a three-year old could care less about Jon Hamm — but for us, it makes things far more entertaining.
