Do you love “Game of Thrones,” and do you want to see some of the cast members in action in the same are where the show is actually currently shooting its third season? Well, you are now going to be offered that opportunity.
According to some new reports straight out of Belfast, a pair of the show’s supporting players in Miltos Yerolemou (who played Aria’s sword teacher Syrio Forel) and Kristian Nairn (Hodor, pictured to the right) are going to be present this year at TitanCon, which will be in Northern Ireland’s largest city on September 22 at the Europa Hotel. The two will be on hand to sign autographs, chat with fans, and even give a sword demonstration courtesy of Yerolemou.
TitanCon of course will have more going on than just “Game of Thrones,” but this is certainly a show that already has everyone on edge. We are still fairly early on in the filming process, and unfortunately after this event there are not many others coming up that yield an opportunity to see some selected cast members in public. Filming will run for at least the next several months, and will take place in other countries to go along with Northern Ireland including Iceland (the setting of the Jon Snow stories beyond the Wall) and Morocco — which is to be the setting of some sort of plot involving Daenerys as she continues to try and make it back to King’s Landing to reclaim the Iron Throne with the help of her dragons.
“Game of Thrones” already has the announced premiere date of Sunday, March 31, and it will air on HBO at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. Is this the sort of event that you would want to attend?
