As a woman , I really will be disappointed to find out that a woman sacrifices her career and hopes to help a guy and she has always put his needs first to end up all for nothing, she might be the coo, but he was even reluctant at first to give her the title. I would hate to see such a strong character loosing it all for nothing.. it gives a negative vibe. As a matter of fact if they chose not to go darvey then as a woman I would really like the writer to make her leave the firm and prove herself at somewhere else. But to appear as the woman with the broken heart.. nooooooooooooooo..
also. Donna deserves a fight. Harvey needs to pursue her and fight for her. and I don’t see that happening in just six episodes but if there is no season 8 then definitely they should make them end up with each other. I mean life is full of sad endings and lost dreams and hopes.

We have two problems though. Mike and Rach. If Patrick J Adams doesn’t return for Season 8 – if there is one – then I don’t see Harvey Louis and Donna, becoming one single (Louis, hopefully getting a happy ending with Sheila) and a couple. It would be too small a situation to fill a show if they got them together and continued. That’s not to say that if we get a season 8, that I wouldn’t like that to happen. On the contrary, I think that the beginnings of Donna and Harvey’s long awaited union would be interesting ground. But I don’t see the writers navigating that alongside a continuation.

The best I can hope for, as a fan of both the show and ‘Darvey’ is that we get them on the same page about their feelings for one another, at the very least, and that the grand mistake that was Paula Agard’s skewed character is ejected from the show.
