We don’t know some of the professional partners just yet for the upcoming “All-Stars” season on “Dancing with the Stars,” but we can say one thing with relative certainty — based on her performance in her past season, the pro who is paired with Bristol Palin is probably going to have the biggest challenge of going home early in the competition.
Speaking in a new interview with People Magazine, Karina Smirnoff — who is still relatively fresh off of her win with J.R. Martinez one year ago — expressed that she is going to be rather surprised if Sarah Palin’s daughter fares very well this time around:
“I’d be very, very surprised if [Bristol Palin] won. Bristol was not known as the best dancer of [her] season. There was so much controversy when she was on.”
Smirnoff also expressed her opinion as to whether or not the men or the women are going to do well in this season based on some of their past seasons’ worth of experience:
“The women are very strong, but the male celebrity guests are a little bit stronger overall. I mean, we have an Olympian male guest – Apolo Anton Ohno. I’m sure he’ll go very far.”
Hopefully within the next couple of weeks, we will have an opportunity to figure out just who is going to be paired with who. Mark Ballas worked with Bristol last time, and it’s possible that she could do it again — meanwhile, Derek Hough has already suggested that this season could be his swan song.
Do you think that Bristol could last for a few weeks this coming season — or is she the first one out in your mind? If you want to find out why a popular past contestant in Joey Lawrence turned down this gig, be sure to visit the link here.
