Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga on Vanity Fair’s best-dressed list

Kate is on the list.

Every year, Vanity Fair presents one of the most prestigious honors any aspiring fashion icon can hope to have — a spot on the International Best-Dressed List. The list is not necessarily limited to just big-name celebrities, as we oftentimes see everyone from news anchors (Brian Williams) to French First Lady Carla Bruni included.

So who are some of the lucky ones receiving this honor for 2011? Let’s take a look at a few select inductees:

Kate Middleton: Considering that the Duchess of Cambridge starts a conversation every time she steps out in an outfit, it seems appropriate.

Lady Gaga: A Controversial choice, but she certainly gets people talking.

Carey Mulligan: A popular actress who lights up the red carpet on a regular basis.

Justin Timberlake: He is always been a standout for his fun but classy selections.

Arnie Hammer: The “Social Network” actor is currently a rising star, but he has the dapper look of a Hollywood legend down pat.
