When it comes to the upcoming ninth season of “Grey’s Anatomy,” there is one thing that should be a given at the moment — change is coming to Seattle. Chyler Leigh, Kim Raver, and now Eric Dane are all done with the show after being a part of the cast for multiple seasons, and Gaius Charles and Camille Luddington are in playing some of the new doctors that Meredith and Cristina could be in part working over.
“#greysanstomy casting a perky realtor woman for ep 3 … Is Meredith selling her house?”
At the end of the day, it’s really pretty easy to figure out just who could be making a move — and her name is Meredith Grey. Even if she does end up heading east, we have a feeling that she won’t due so for long. It’s hard to imagine this show without Ellen Pompeo’s character in Seattle, and it makes sense for her to sell her home in order to move into the super-establishment that Derek spent so much time building last season. This is, after all, another motivation to say — are you really going to spend so much time building a house simply to kiss it goodbye for another city?
The first two episodes are going to deal with subjects even more significant than just realty — including how Dane’s character of Mark is going to leave the show and what the aftermath is going to be to Lexie’s death once the plane crash survivors are rescued (which will be shown off more via flashbacks in the second episode of the season).
