Usually when you hear about a celebrity turning down a chance to be on “Dancing with the Stars,” it is typically just due to scheduling or a general lack of interest. Unfortunately for legendary sitcom star Roseanne Barr, it is a bit of a different situation — she is just physically unable to do it.
Speaking in a new interview with xojane.com, the 58-year old explains how some physical limitations are probably going to keep her from entering the star-studded ballroom at any time in the near future:
“I really wanna do that show. My hips are bad. I think I need a hip replacement. That’s why I can’t do that Dancing with the Stars [expletive].”
As of right now, the vast majority of the cast (which will be announced later in the month) remains a mystery. Kim Kardashian’s brother Rob has agreed to do the gig — meanwhile, other celebrities rumored include Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Lindsay Lohan. (However, reps for both stars have denied having any interest at various times.)
