The series finale of “Weeds” is coming on September 16 — and although finding out specific details is even worse than trying to get a needle out of a haystack, we at least now know one nice detail to be excited about — one of the guest stars who will be a part of the series’ great send-off.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “American Pie” star Natasha Lyonne has been booked for the final episode of Showtime’s dark comedy, and the only thing really known about her at the moment is her character’s last name — Tiffani. She does follow up a list of guest stars for this season that include Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jessica “Sugar” Kiper, who is mostly interesting due to her being a former “Survivor” contestant that stripped down in a scene that came out of nowhere.
Thus far on “Weeds” this season, we have seen Mary-Louise Parker’s character of Nancy Botwin try in some ways to escape the life that she built for herself in the pot trade, though it has not been easy for her — she caught the man responsible for shooting her, and is hitting some snags at the moment when it comes to getting rid of her share in the business. Meanwhile, one of her sons has been keeping his version of the trade going on the side, while the other is making an incredibly ironic move into law enforcement.
With there being eight seasons and so much story in the can already, do you think that there is any way that “Weeds” can have an ending that satisfies just about everyone? We want to hear some of your thoughts below! To find out some more about whether or not this show is going to venture into “happy ending” territory, be sure and follow the link here.
