‘Two and a Half Men’: ‘True Blood’ star to romance Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher is going to have a new love interest pretty early on this coming season on “Two and a Half Men,” and if you know your TV, this is going to be someone you recognize almost right out of the gate.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Brit Morgan is set to stop by the hit CBS sitcom for its season 10 premiere on September 27, and she will play a part that we have seen so many times before on this show regardless of whether we are talking about Ashton Kucher, Jon Cryer, or Charlie Sheen back when he was anchoring the show — she is a woman at a bar who Walden meets and invites back to his beach house.

Morgan is best known for her work on “True Blood,” where she played werewolf and V addict Debbie Pelt for two years before Sookie Stackhouse shot her at the end of season 4 — a direct response to her pretty much killing Tara and forcing her to undergo a transformation into a vampire to still be a part of this show. Even though her character has still been a key part of the story this season as her ex-boyfriend Alcide has had to face some of the consequences for what Sookie did, she is only indirectly involved and seems to be done with the show pending some sort of future flashbacks.

As for “Two and a Half Men,” it’s possible that CBS may choose to have this be the last year for the long-running comedy. Both Kutcher and Cryer have signed new one-year deals to remain on the show, and while it has not necessarily been confirmed that this will be the end for the show, many are assuming as such pending the ratings following up “The Big Bang Theory” on Thursday night.
