‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Teresa Giudice tears into Kathy Wakile

More fighting!

There’s a feud breaking out on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” — but it is happening in the blogosphere rather than on the actual show. We have seen Kathy Wakile struggle to get along with her cousin Teresa Giudice on the Bravo series thus far, but by and large they have tried to showcase most of the juicier content as being between Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.

However, Teresa is now having to focus most of her energy on Kathy in real life. Writing in a new entry on her blog, Teresa fires back at her cousin over some of the harsh things that were said about her father in one of Kathy’s blogs — something that was completely unrelated to the show itself. Ultimately, her goal here seems to be telling the viewing public that fights with Kathy are not exactly something new that was spawned solely due to the show:

“I know you all want me and Kathy to get along, and I want that too, but first you gotta know–we weren’t close anymore before the show. We hadn’t been close for 6 years. We had a falling out and I know she doesn’t want me to talk about why, but needless to say, I’m not the one with the grudge problem… When I heard they picked Kathy for the show, it was weird to me because she was a cousin I wasn’t close to. Our families weren’t talking when I was growing up from my First Communion until I was 16, and by then she was doing her own thing. After I got married, because I didn’t have a sister, I reached out to her and we hung out a lot, but that was a long time ago… I’d love to be that way again, but she makes it hard: joining the show when she still held a grudge just to hate on me, her writing things that hurt my family, constantly bashing me in her blog, her setting up things behind the scenes… What am I supposed to do? What would you do in my shoes? I don’t bring up things outside the show in the personal lives of Kathy or Melissa. I don’t make huge horrible generalizations about their character or personality or how bad of a person they are. I only write about what’s on the episodes or what’s in their blogs.”

Teresa has expressed previously that she “regrets” doing the show, and would probably not be involved anymore had she known that two members of her extended family would be taking part. Ironically, it is these two women that she struggling to get along with the most, and it certainly has to make one question whether or not the three ladies would all be able to function filming another season together.

Do you think all three ladies involved here need to stop airing their dirty laundry in any shape or form?
