Remember when Kate Gosselin was supposedly in consideration for the “All-Stars” season of “Dancing with the Stars“? Well, that didn’t happen — and for the sake of the scoring, that was probably a good thing considering that there are a number of former champions on the roster. (Then again, she would have brought plenty of entertainment and drama to the season.)
In a new blog entry on Coupon Cabin (where she works as a guest writer), Kate said that more than anyone else this season, she wants to see a former “Baywatch” star win that she spent a great time with when she was on the ABC show:
“Naturally, Pam Anderson will get my votes this season because she is a fellow Season 10 cast mate and because, in my opinion, she’s braver than brave because she was not a finalist in our season and is the only contestant going into Season 15 with that status.”
Season 10 of the show was one of its highest-rated on record, and one of the primary reasons for that really was Kate’s participation — as a matter of fact, millions of viewers tuned out the moment she was eliminated from the competition. However, this was back when she was still getting over her divorce from Jon, and her family was the subject of reality TV royalty. Since that time, “Kate Plus 8” has been canceled, and it has been months since her family has been featured in front of the cameras.
Are you disappointed in any way that Kate is not on the cast, and do you think that she has a right pick to win in Pam — even though she had a hard time in her season getting support from the viewers?
