In case you haven’t been on Twitter much Wednesday morning, Justin Bieber’s new music video for “As Long As You Love Me” has taken over the internet and music television stations around the globe. Rather than trying to analyze the video (which you can see below), we thought we’d at least share some TV background on two of the principal actors starring alongside Bieber in the “short film” that features the song.
Chanel Celaya – Outside of having a name that is synonymous with the little black dress, Celaya is mostly well-known in the world of modeling. However, Bieber’s love interest in the video does have one TV credit to her name on her IMDb page — an episode of the upcoming MTV sitcom “The Inbetweeners,” which is based on a popular British show. Let’s just hope that this series fares a bit better than “Skins,” which was the short-lived series from across the pond that the network brought over last year.
Michael Madsen – Known mostly for being an action movie stud courtesy of “Reservoir Dogs” and some other feature films, Madsen had a major TV credit last year on “Celebrity Big Brother” in the United Kingdom, where he was surprisingly cast before making it all the way to the finale and falling short of winning. This season also featured the Shannon twins from “The Girls Next Door” along with former “X Factor” contestant Frankie Cocozza — who was mostly memorable for getting kicked off the show after bragging about substance abuse.
What do you think about Bieber’s music video, and do you think appearing in it is going to help the careers of both Celaya and Madsen in a big way? We want to hear your thoughts! To check out some more recent TV news pertaining to Bieber, be sure to follow the link here.
