We have talked quite a bit about “Bones” as of late in the context of what is going to happen moving forward in regards to Booth and Brennan, but don’t the squinterns also deserve a little bit of love. With that in mind, we have a special bit of scoop coming your way that is really all about the battle of the science geeks.
Speaking to TVLine about this upcoming subject, Tamara Taylor (Cam) had the following to say about this upcoming fall episode:
“Watching those boys off camera was I think as entertaining as watching them on camera … The amount of testosterone flying around the room was awesome … They’re all competing to crack the case. Nerds, believe it or not, have egos too.”
So what this case all about? Supposedly, the squinterns are going to all do their best in order to crack a mystery surrounding a 9/11 victim, and they are going to use a very different sort of skill set than what we see from Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz’s characters. Thanks in part to the four extra “standalone” episodes that “Bones” was handed last year by Fox executive Kevin Reilly, the show’s executive producers were able to come up with some unique stories were telling within the span of an hour — and they didn’t even have to feature the same sort of plots we are accustomed to seeing.
“Bones” will kick off season 8 in fine fashion on Monday, September 17 — which is when Booth and Brennan will face off about her extended absence. As for this squintern episode, it is going to air at a later date in the season.
