Despite whether or not they want to be remembered by that, it’s going to be hard to describe Brittany and Erica Taltos as anything other than the “Jersey Shore” twins — mostly because they have now helped “twinning” get into our everyday vocabulary. However, we will at least say that they kept things interesting in their brief time on “Bachelor Pad” this season until completely and totally wigging out for no good reason in the end. They fought, they screamed at each other for hours, and we really still don’t have any idea just what it was about.
However, the twins have sort of addressed the issue on their Twitter account, claiming that the house merely “brought out the worst” of them — and then saying that they should come back next season just to make everyone mad. The twins were accused of being immature by some of the other contestants in the house, and they would have likely been eliminated, anyway, had they not thrown a massive fit and left voluntarily. It really just seemed like a strange fit for the show, and counter-intuitive to a program that claims to take love rather seriously. You already have one gimmick when it comes to a new player — why add another when their most notorious television moment already involves Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino?
Really, it’s nothing against the wins so much as it is “Bachelor Pad” for casting them in the first place. If the show was “Big Brother” and they were playing as separate contestants, they could actually be rather interesting in that they would have to play separate games and hopefully not drive each other as insane … hopefully.
Are you glad that Brittany and Erica are gone, and are you really just as confused as we are that they were ever included to begin with? To check out our full review of Monday night’s new episode, be sure to visit the link here.
