There are going to be a number of actors on the upcoming “All-Stars” season of “Dancing with the Stars” that are going to be rather busy, but we’re not sure if any of them will have more going on with their schedule than Kelly Monaco. As a star of “General Hospital,” the actress has one of the busiest schedules on TV based on that alone. When you add ballroom dancing into the mix, you are in many ways going haywire.
Speaking to TVLine in an interview about the subject of her schedule, Monaco claims that in many ways she is still trying to plan out how best to manage her time:
“I’m still trying to figure it out … I’m going to have to really convince [executive producer] Frank [Valentini] to either put [Sam] in a coma, lessen my dialogue by 75 percent or not have me there at all — which I don’t think is going to work!”
Monaco did mention that she will still be a part of ABC’s only remaining soap for the weeks in which she is putting on her ballroom shoes, but hat her role is probably going to be reversed for the time being. During the first season, she was lucky enough to be able to pull double-duty when needed to — but the show was not as rigorous back when it first premiered, and it was also on during the summer, when the work days can occasionally be a little longer without any problems.
Do you think that Kelly is going to be able to shake off some of the rust and do well this season, or will some of the favorites for more recent seasons (especially since she was no really subject to fan voting her first time around) swallow her alive?
