As we near the end of “True Blood” season 5, the story is somehow going to become even more intense — and this is coming to us courtesy of a man who spent a good part of Sunday night’s episode acting against himself.
Sam Trammell has been on a pretty interesting journey so far this season, as he has been forced to balance trying to solve he mystery of who is out to kill shapeshifters along with taking care of his girlfriend Luna — who nearly died Sunday night after transforming into him. Speaking to TVLine in a new interview, all the actor would say in setting up the remainder of this storyline is that there are some things coming hat you would definitely not expect:
“Sam has definitely been set on a path and part of my storyline will be dealing with that. The next episode is just ridiculous. Some crazy stuff happens and you will continue to be surprised. There’s some more insane stuff happening … [I] think we have one of the best season finales we’ve ever had. For sure. There’s definitely going to be a ton of blood spilled and a lot of people die. The very end [of the episode], people are going to be like, ‘Holy s–t!’ It’s a major, major cliffhanger.”
Will Sam interact some more with the other familiar faces in Bon Temps? At the moment, that is what we are mostly curious about given that the scenes so far have either been with Janina Gavankar, Joe Manganiello (Alcide), or Chris Bauer (Sheriff Andy) — even if there has been some brief interaction with both Sookie and Jason Stackhouse along with his former fling Tara.
Do you think that there is any way Luna manages to survive this season, and where do you want to see Sam’s story go following this season? We want to hear from you! To read our full review of Sunday night’s episode, be sure to pay a visit to this link.
