I agree that Megyn Kelly Today might be a good venue for the victims to give voice to their experiences, which could be part of the healing process. But it also may be NBC’s attempt to mitigate damages that are surely coming its way. Victims’ only recourse against the perpetrators is a civil lawsuit to which monetary awards are the only remedy. However, there are lots and lots of deep pockets — all the way up to NBC itself, the mother lode. Oftentimes, a hit to the pocketbook is the only language these animals understand.

I’ve had my issues with Megyn Kelly, as well, and I won’t watch her anymore. But if this comes together, she will leave no stone unturned. Truly.
