‘American Horror Story’ season 2 spoilers: Adam Levine’s ‘lover’ is…

When Adam Levine was first announced to be making his TV acting debut on the second season of “American Horror Story,” the claims were that he was going to be part of a duo known as “the lovers.” It has been a long time coming, but we do now thankfully know just who the other lover is going to be.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the prestigious role has gone to actress Jenna Dewan, who may be best known to many at this point as the wife of “Magic Mike” star Channing Tatum. Given Tatum’s recent career surge, it’s actually rather ironic that the two are landing some pretty big movie roles at the same time.

Outside of this news, unfortunately, there is still not that much information available as to who this character is or just what sort of role they are going to have on the show as a whole. All we can say is that Dewan joins an ever-growing cast for this season that includes Marc Consuelos, Chris Zylka from “The Secret Circle,” and season 1 alums Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, and many others playing different roles. The show is set this season inside of an insane asylum during the 1960s, and the objective here is to showcase a more realistic sort of terror than the apparitions that were floating around inside of the Harmons’ mansion in season 1.

What do you think about this casting? We want to hear from you below! Season 2 of “American Horror Story” is expected to premiere on FX this fall. To find out some more information about the overall feel of the “horror” within season 2, be sure to check out the story over at this link.
