Only a matter of days after getting himself expelled from the “Big Brother 14” house for violence and threats against other players, the problems for Willie Hantz just aren’t going away.
According to TMZ, Hantz was arrested in Lafayette Parish at 2:07 a.m. for OWI — which is basically the state of Louisiana’s version of driving under the influence. There’s no word yet on what his blood-alcohol level was as of this writing, but the younger brother of Russell Hantz is still in police custody at this time.
Willie made a name for himself the first few days in the “Big Brother” game for being a relatively smart player when it came to forming alliances and talking with his other players — but following a discussion that some of the coaches could enter the game as coaches, he started to completely unravel. When he realized that the new Head of Household in Frank was targeting him for eviction, he started to become intolerable to the other houseguests — then, he completely melted down after Janelle at the coaches’ challenge made him a have-not for the week. He ultimately felt as though nobody wanted him in the house anymore, and he decided to take him upon himself to get kicked out rather than evicted. Only bits and pieces of his fight with Joe Arvin were shown on TV, as he reported head-butted him a number of times before finally going into the diary room at the request of producers.
Now, Willie is locked up again — but behind bars rather than sitting around in a house.
