Hands-down, a favorite of the entire series. When Vic can barely get the words "my baby is gone" out at the end...heaven help me!! And Walt, so tenderly telling her he could never be mad that she is still alive...so many things to love about the whole thing. Back to the beginning, though, when he hollers to Dr. Weston "She's pregnant!" and the power of Robert Taylor's facial acting. To hear Walt declare it out loud for the first time, and see the realization and the gravity hit him...Robert Taylor is a wizard of emotional conveyance. As the first post-surgery scene opens, seeing Walt's hands, I knew she'd lost the baby. But watching him tell her, and making it a point to begin by telling her it was only because of the baby that she survived...the feels were strong. Just a stand-out performance by them both. Katee Sackhoff, God love her, has got to be one of the ugliest criers on television (I mean absolutely NO DISRESPECT - I'm an ugly crier myself!!) - it was INCREDIBLE!! Katee did a PHENOMENAL job of putting herself in Vic's shoes and allowing real grief and pain and loss to overwhelm her. Just an amazing performance!!
