‘The Bachelorette’s’ Arie Luyendyk Jr. not giving up on love yet

We have heard quite a bit already from both Emily Maynard and the man she picked on “The Bachelorette” when it comes to their future together — but what does the second-place finisher have to say? That is what we are finding out now.

In a new post on Twitter early Tuesday morning following the premiere of “Bachelor Pad” — which features a number of his fellow former contestants — Arie Luyendyk Jr. posted the following message to let everyone know that he is still hopeful or his own abilities to find the right person for him in the future:

“Read everyones messages with a smile across my face. I believe there is someone special out there for me. #heartisfilledwithhope

The evolution of Arie has truly been an interesting thing to watch. Early this season, he was a man maligned in many ways by tabloid rumors about his past, including a brief relationship with former producer Cassie Lambert. However, he has since recovered by winning over America’s hearts with his devotion to Emily — and the story about him leaving his journal on her doorstep during the “After the Final Rose” special has to be among the most heartbreaking things we have ever heard on this show.

If all of this does not scream “potential ‘Bachelor’ contender,” then we don’t know what does. Granted, the good news or Arie and for the show’s producers is that they still have a few months before figuring out who is going to be the right person to hand out roses on TV early next year.
