I liked that Pride finally realised that he can’t continue down the road he’s on, and I look forward to seeing him work through his issues (many of which I assume are to do with his father and his upbringing).

He portrayed both fierce, almost over-the-edge intensity, from which you could literally see him yank himself back,
and a poignant introspective subtlety at the end. CCH Pounder gave an equally stellar performance – fiery in her protection of her son, but empathetic when DWayne needed her. These two are veritable gold together! Brilliant!
