Finn Hudson better look out on season 4 of “Glee” — he is going to have some major competition courtesy of an upperclassman at NYADA.
Fox announced on Monday that the following two actors are joining the show in major roles moving forward — and yes, one of them is going to be playing the college version of Jesse St. James.
Dean Geyer – The former “Terra Nova” star is staying on Fox, and he will be playing the aforementioned musical theater student who develops some sort of affection for Rachel while at the school. Even his first name in Brody suggests that the guy could be some serious trouble.
For those of you serious Finchel fans out there, it’s unclear whether or not he and Lea Michele’s character are actually going to be getting together at any point. What we can say is that Finn is starting off season 4 in an undisclosed location, and we should be able to find out more about him during the September 13 premiere.
Jacob Artist – Meanwhile, the former “Blue Lagoon” star — who has the perfect last name to be on a show all about music — has landed the much-discussed new role of Puck’s younger half-brother Jake. We don’t know that he will be joining New Directions for sure, but we certainly would not be surprised considering that the group needs some more guys thanks to graduation and the exit of Damian McGinty’s Rory after just one season. We also wonder whether or not he is going to try and work the same sort of “bad boy” angle.
