Totally agree!!!!! It would be smart to stay away from CM. The way they handled Thomas Gibson's exit was inappropriate despite how Messer try to come off "sugar coating" everything. NCIS would make a mistake to go that route. Gibbs and the "cat's meow" Prentiss, I don't think so. NCIS care about their viewers and acknowledges it. They don't have to sugar coat anything. Mark Harmon has always been a wonderful actor. I applaud him and the team of characters past and present.

It would have been interesting seeing Mark Harmon and Thomas Gibson mixing it up in cross-over episodes, especially since the two of them were in Chicago Hope together. The promotion of the episodes could have been compelling having Hotch and Gibbs matching wits while reminding audiences of the Chicago Hope connection.

But this bunch of also-rans on Criminal Minds today can't hold a candle to Mark Harmon's crew and the writing on Criminal Minds is far too sub par. I can't see Mark Harmon and NCIS seeing the benefit in trying to save an imploding Criminal Minds, much less the audience wanting to see a Hotch-lite Emily Prentiss trying to look relevant as she struggles to generate some sort of screen presences to compete with Mark Harmon's Gibbs.

Yeah, I know all series are down but CM minus Thomas Gibson is a shallow, shadow of itself. It's a sinking ship that NCIS and Mark Harmon would be smart to stay far, far away from. #NoHotchNoWatch
