‘Bachelor Pad 3’: ‘Jersey Shore’ twins Brittany and Erica Taltos speak out

When “Bachelor Pad” premieres on ABC Monday night, there are going to be a pair of contestants featured on the show that should feel familiar to a good many people watching at home. Brittany and Erica Taltos were a part of a study abroad program through the University of Florida when they appeared on the fourth season of “Jersey Shore,” and are at times point infamous for a night that involved Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino, and even Deena Cortese.

What you may be surprised to find out, though, is that this ABC competition is far from the only reality show that the Taltos twins have hoped to appear on. According to the Gainesville Sun, the two ladies had previously applied to both “Big Brother” and “The Real World” before getting turned away, and this is the first show where the stars really ended up aligning for them.

Now that it has been firmly established that these two really want to be famous, we now have to pose the question — just how well will they actually do? They are the only new contestants (or “superfans,” to use the show’s term) that have any sort of pop-culture relevance prior to the show beginning, but we are a little skeptical that any of them will really end up doing well here. After all, if we were a “Bachelor” veteran we would just band together with some other past stars and make sure that the newbies and are sent out the door right away. The only hope the new players have? Flirting, and Brittany and Erica better hope to turn on the charm early and often if they want to stay put in the game.

Do you think these two could actually do well on “Bachelor Pad,” or do you hate the show casting new players so much that you refuse to even care?┬áIf you want to check out some more news pertaining to “Bachelor Pad 3” — especially when it comes to reigning champ Michael Stagliano — be sure to head on over to this link.
