NCIS does it all the time, introducing new versions of itself. Five-0 has teamed up with other Private Investigators on the island before. Harry Brown has been in two episodes and then there was the memorable Tony Archer played by James Caan. So it’s very feasible the team might cross paths with Magnum on a case too. It’s a perfect fit.
