I don’t know about old but you sure are grumpy :-)-. I don’t care too much for those scenes but they don’t bother me. I am aware most fans loves the “car bantering”.

Maybe I’m just old and grumpy, but the idea that every show needs a pain-in-the-butt sidekick grates on my nerves. The Scott Caan/Danny character is petty, juvenile and endlessly annoying, and the scenes of McGarrett and Danny bickering in the car are so tiresome, so predictable, so dumb, so completely unrelated to the story, that I’ve taken to muting them or just fast forwarding through them. I watched the S1/E1 pilot on Netflix last night and he was annoying and dumb right from the start. Enough, already!
